Last week, I had the opportunity to deliver a custom-built workshop for the Account Management team at Thuisbezorgd Netherlands — a dynamic group that represents and supports local restaurants and horeca entrepreneurs across the country.
The mission? To equip these account managers with practical AI-powered social media marketing strategies they could share with their restaurant partners. The goal was to inspire local food businesses with tools, frameworks, and content ideas that can help them grow their visibility, engage their audience, and drive more orders.
🎯 Why This Workshop Mattered
As the bridge between Thuisbezorgd and thousands of local restaurants, the account managers play a crucial role not just in onboarding and support—but also in empowering their clients to succeed. With social media being such a vital (yet overwhelming) channel for many restaurant owners, the team asked for a tailored workshop that made strategy simple, visual, and actionable.
And that’s exactly what we delivered.
🧠 What We Covered
The session focused on three core pillars:
-
Demystifying AI – showing how tools like ChatGPT and Canva Magic can simplify content creation.
-
The FOODIE Framework – a 6-step method I designed to help anyone build a strategic, AI-assisted content plan for food brands.
-
Hands-on Inspiration – real cases, group debates, and live examples relevant to the horeca world.
🤝 In Partnership with MICA
This workshop was proudly delivered in partnership with MICA – the creative hub in Leeuwarden where education, entrepreneurship, and innovation come together in the fields of media, communication, and digitalization. It was the perfect setting to spark new ideas and collaborative thinking.
🙌 A Big Thank You
To the Thuisbezorgd Account Management Team – thank you for your energy, curiosity, and openness. Your commitment to supporting local restaurants with new tools and strategies is what real impact looks like.
